Les Soupers du Roy (King's Dinners)

"Les Soupers du Roy" is music by Michel-Richard Lalande, known as de Lalande (1657-1726), a French musician of the Baroque period who composed mainly religious music for King Louis XIV, but also entertainments to liven up the King's suppers. Ensemble Arabesque, a music distribution organisation, will be adapting this project under the direction of Anne-Christine Leuridan and hosted by David Meichtry, producer and presenter at Espace2.

Gastronomy will join the music with a meal based on the (updated) French cuisine of 1700.
