Carrousel is a Swiss pop/folk band formed in 2008 in Paris by Sophie Burande and Léonard Gogniat. Now based in Jura (French-speaking Switzerland), the duo's style is somewhere between pop, folk and modern French chanson.
After months of creation, writing, music and studio :
Carrousel is back on stage with Éclaircies, a vibrant and luminous new album. The duo continue their poetic exploration of airy pop-folk, with melodious lyrics and rhythmic choruses. Each concert is like a parenthesis where strong emotions are celebrated and shared in a warm atmosphere. Carrousel carries us away with its contagious energy, between hope and nostalgia, like so much light after the rain.
