We roam the floodplain forest along the Rotten and listen to the morning birdsong and try to get some in front of the lens of our binoculars and telescopes as well.
Meeting point
06.00 Salgesch train station - Timetable SBB
Remarks
We roam the floodplain forest along the Rotten and listen to the morning song of the birds and try to get some also in front of the lens of our binoculars and telescopes, which will not be easy in the well leafy trees at this time of year. Nevertheless, we should be able to see some species, such as woodpeckers, various tits, thrushes, warblers, warblers, wren or chaffinch. With a little luck, a nightingale can be seen as well as heard. Where there is a clear view of the water, we will again look for sandpipers and wagtails.
