A scenic-musical menagerie by Dieter Bachmann

Man and animal, the animal and its human - a comedy of collisions. Giving a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves, the animals - that is what this unusual theater production sets out to do. In other words, the majority of them are persecuted, mistreated, slaughtered or exterminated. The animal world, and therefore the world, is endangered as never before in the history of the planet. Dieter Bachmann's text collage, a scenic condensation of his award-winning book "Among Animals" with ludicrous dialogues and stirring prose passages, becomes a beacon in the quartet of Graziella Rossi and Helmut Vogel together with Christoph Baumann on the piano and Matthias Ziegler on his self-created flutes: For the survival of the animals - before it could be too late for everyone.
