Once again, Vals is transforming into a paradise for running enthusiasts. This special race combines athletic challenge, a connection with nature, and an unforgettable sense of community.
The route of the Vals Fall Run leads from Vals (starting at the village square) along the famous hiking trail (single-track) to Zerfreila. From there, the course continues via Frunt to the finish line at Gadastatt. Over approximately 12 kilometers, participants experience a varied and technically challenging course with unique panoramic views. From the lowest point in Vals to the highest point near Frunt, runners will climb a total of 730 meters in elevation. Although the race includes timing and rankings, the focus is on enjoyment: it’s about the shared running experience and immersing yourself in the picturesque natural surroundings. The Vals Autumn Run is open to running enthusiasts of all ages—whether as a athletic challenge or a personal adventure.
Opening hours
Race bib pickup for all categories will take place on Saturday, October 3, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on race day starting at 8:30 a.m. in the foyer of the Glüs Center. Late registrations for the main race and the youth race are accepted at the Zentrum Glüs until 10:15 a.m. Late registrations for the children’s race are accepted at Gadastatt until 1:00 p.m. Please pay attention to the announcer’s announcements.The main race starts on Sunday at 10:45 a.m.
Luggage can be dropped off at the starting line and will be transported to the finish line at Gadastatt. Lockers are available at the Glüs Center. Shower facilities are available at Gadastatt.
The awards ceremony will take place at approximately 2:00 p.m. at Gadastatt.
The gondola ride up and down the mountain is free—for everyone! The gondola will also run continuously through lunchtime on this day without interruption.
