On Saturday, June 27, 2026, Varen will once again be the meeting point for the Backyard Ultra community. Starting at 12:00 PM, runners will embark from the center of Paleten on a special challenge: one lap of 6.7 km every hour – until only one person remains. The diverse course through the Valais vineyards demands endurance, mental strength, and perseverance. A unique running event for participants and spectators, where it's not about speed, but about continuing.
