Vernayaz: Balade gourmande et Rencontre culturelle [English]

The Commune of Vernayaz is organizing a gourmet stroll as part of its Rencontre culturelle event. Supported by the Parc naturel régional de la Vallée du Trient, the organization aims to highlight the region's terroir and the cultural and natural riches of Vernayaz!

MENU & ITINERARY:
-Breakfast in the school playground
Coffee, tea, fruit juices, fruit and croissants and pains au chocolat
-Presentation of traditional herbal tea making by Amélia Bochatay
-Aperitif at Chez Maître Ambroise
-Assiette du terroir, wines, nettle drinks
Explanations and discussions on the mixing of Hérens cows and demonstration

Meal at the Miéville canteen and welcome by the Carnival Committee
Raclette and jacket potatoes, wine, nettle drinks
Dessert at the Pissevache waterfall
Valaisan dessert by Boulangerie le Planain, coffee, herbal tea

-Speech by Jacques Pache: the waterfall, its history, operation and hydroelectricity
-Cultural event at the Boulodrome

Cultural entertainment, reading, music and exhibition
Official part and presentation of cultural prizes at 4 p.m.
Bar and snacks provided by the Children's Choir

-Please note: Places are limited, and you must register by April 22, 2024 via the registration form!
Please specify the number of adults and children you wish to register.
-Payment on site, on the day, in cash only.
The event takes place in all weathers. Depending on weather conditions, please equip yourself accordingly.
