How parcels are processed.
What happens to letters and parcels before mail carriers deliver them to you? Find out when you visit one of our letter and parcel centers. During a guided tour of the center, we’ll give you the background information on letter and parcel processing. Watch our employees at work and experience state-of-the-art technologies.
Across an area of over 7,500 m2, Vétroz regional parcel center has a sorting capacity of 8,000 parcels per hour.
The guided tours are not aimed at children under the age of 10, but they may participate if accompanied by an adult (e.g. as part of a family visit). Children’s safety is important to us – sorting centers are industrial operations with noise, light, heat and cold. Children must be supervised by their parents at all times. Pushchairs are not permitted. Tours are also suitable for people with a disability. Please discuss your needs with us in advance.
Dogs will have to stay at home, because the centers are noisy and hectic.
