Lizard King Day at Vullierens Castle

Did you know that the gardens of Vullierens Castle contain an enchanted forest in which a lizard has taken up residence on a tree? From April to October, an educational trail takes young and old on fun and educational adventures that tell the story of the forest and nature. A book telling the story of the lizard can be purchased from our shop.

On Sundays 21 April, 11 August and 27 October, an all-day event is organised, with exciting free activities for children aged 4 to 10 (admission to the estate is charged from the age of 5).

On the programme:
- A storyteller will recount the forest, the Lizard, the elves and other magical stories. Storytelling times: 11.30 am and 3 pm.
- A landart workshop will allow you to create a butterfly using nature. Schedule: available all day.
- A guide from the Maison de la Rivière will help you discover macro-invertebrates, the small living creatures found in our ponds, lakes and streams.
Times: 10.15 am, 2 pm and 3.30 pm.

Online ticket purchase recommended. To ensure maximum comfort and because the number of participants is limited, please book your time slot (for the whole family!): morning (10am-1.30pm) or afternoon (2pm-6pm).
