While filming his multiple Oscar®-nominated film Elvis (2022), Luhrmann found the long-lost footage from the legendary Elvis concert films from the 1970s. Together with unreleased Super 8 films from the Graceland archives, the film negatives were restored using state-of-the-art technology.
