28.01.2026 19:00 - 23:00
La Vidondée, Rue de la Vidondée 2, 1908 Riddes
Exhibition | Painting, drawing, engraving
"In this exhibition, Katia Bornoz turns doubt from a weakness into fertile material, a driving force for creation and knowledge. Inspired by Rilke, she chooses to tame this inner voice, turning it into a lucid and sensitive guide. Through paintings, engravings and monotypes, she explores the themes of movement, transformation and resilience. Each work is born of an embodied gesture, both intuitive and physical, inherited from her dance training. The body, the living memory of movement, becomes an instrument of dialogue with matter: energy circulates, is held back, is released, in a continuous variation between tension and fluidity. The exhibition space is transformed into a sensitive field where the works resonate with the site, the audience and sometimes the dance performance. Between light and shadow, fullness and emptiness, silence and momentum, a fragile but profoundly human balance is established.
Each piece bears witness to a suspended moment, a passage where everything can change. In this sensory journey, Katia Bornoz invites us to feel energy, fluidity and intuition as paths to reinvention. Here, doubt becomes promise, gesture becomes language, and art a bridge between the visible and the invisible.
