Founded on October 23, 1973, the Arbedo-Castione Ski Club celebrates its 50th anniversary this season. For more than half a century it has been offering children, youth and adults snow sports activities in a stimulating, fun and sharing atmosphere. The ski club would like to thank all members, monitors and monitors and all committee members who during these 50 years have enthusiastically collaborated to make this sports club grow and progress.

The main event of the season is the ski week, which has been held for several years in Disentis during the first week of January. Participants, children aged 7 to 17, are accompanied daily on the slopes by our monitors, who offer skiing and snowboarding lessons suitable for all skill levels. The activities offered are not limited to just on the snow. At the end of the day on the slopes, our monitors offer a variety of activities: gym games, skating, climbing, board games, entertainment and shows. The week represents an extraordinary opportunity not only to improve one's skills in skiing and snowboarding, but also to learn how to live together and have fun.

During the winter season we offer "ski days for all". One-day outings organized on various winter weekends in different ski areas of Ticino or Canton Graubünden. The destination is chosen depending on the weather and snow conditions. These days are also suitable for adults and accompanying parents who, according to desire, can join the adult group and be supervised by one of our monitors.

The club has about 25 monitors and over 10 staff members dedicated to supporting activities during the ski week. The experience and team spirit between monitors, staff, and committee allow for optimal planning and management of all our activities, keeping true to our motto: "SCAC is one big family with a strong passion for snow sports while having fun."
