Associazione per il miglioramento ambientale di castione (AMICA)

The Association for the Environmental Improvement of Castione, known as AMICA, is a citizens' association formed to promote, maintain, and enhance the quality of life in Castione and surrounding areas. The association is nonpartisan, nondenominational, and nonprofit. AMICA seeks to explore all local issues that may negatively impact residents' quality of life. Furthermore, it promotes concrete actions to control negative environmental impacts and supports, through the relevant authorities, urban planning measures aimed at continuously improving the quality of life. This includes reducing environmental impacts and ensuring the safety of pedestrian and bicycle paths, particularly for schoolchildren. Membership is open to all citizens over the age of eighteen who are interested in the association's goals. Members commit to working together to achieve the association's objectives. The association offers members the opportunity to actively participate in public debate and concrete initiatives on topics ranging from urban planning to traffic, from land management to specific and local environmental issues.
