Pilzverein Grenchen & Umgebung

We are the Grenchen & Surrounding Area Mycological Society. Our society is dedicated to the study of mycology and the exchange of information among mushroom enthusiasts. We meet throughout the year, every Monday evening, at our clubhouse to discuss and identify mushrooms we find. If needed, we can also conduct microscopic examinations and display the results on a monitor. During mushroom season, we undertake numerous excursions into the forest. We also organize courses for anyone interested. Every two years, we put on an exhibition featuring a wide variety of mushroom species. Our society is open to everyone who is interested in mushrooms.
