Jagdgesellschaft Brislach

About us

The Brislach Hunting Association is a legally organized association of currently ten leaseholders and two permanent guests. Together, they manage and administer the Brislach hunting area, which encompasses the entire municipality except for the building zone. The association is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the hunting area's facilities, such as hunting stands and blinds. A significant part of their work involves the management of the hunting area and the prevention of damage caused by wildlife, for which cooperation with farmers and the forestry service is crucial. The hunting association regulates the game population according to legal requirements and is bound by cantonal and federal hunting laws. It offers members the opportunity to sell their harvested game as a natural food product. Activities in the hunting area vary with the seasons; spring and summer are characterized by wildlife management and maintenance, while autumn and winter are dedicated to preventing damage caused by wildlife and hunting itself. Members also participate in projects such as fawn rescue using drones. The target group for membership are hunters who wish to actively participate in the management and maintenance of the hunting area.
