Velo- + Montainbike-Club Aarwangen (VMCA)

The Aarwangen Cycling and Mountain Biking Club (VMCA) is a long-established cycling club in the Upper Aargau region. Founded in 1910, the club currently has around 80 active members. The VMCA promotes cycling, competitive cycling, road safety education, and fosters camaraderie among its members. Special emphasis is placed on youth development. The club offers a comprehensive training program for adults and children, focusing on endurance and technical skills. Weekly training sessions are offered for children. Once a month, a social club ride is organized on quiet, low-traffic routes. The club also organizes training races where members can test their fitness. The highlight of the racing calendar is the Renet individual time trial. For social activities, the VMCA organizes annual events such as company visits or bowling outings. In the spring, a training camp is held to prepare for the season. The club welcomes all cycling enthusiasts who enjoy being active together and want to improve their cycling skills.
