The Brass Band L'Elite de Cressier is a musical society founded in 1922. It is currently a second-category brass band composed of wind and drum players. The society's objective is to promote musical practice. To this end, it organizes concerts in concert halls, participates in religious services, and performs at outdoor events. The Brass Band L'Elite de Cressier also offers comprehensive musical training to its members and other interested individuals. This training begins with introductory music and solfège classes. Students can then take brass instrument lessons through a branch of the Fribourg Conservatory. Young musicians then join the "Young Harmonic Band" as soon as their skill level allows. The target audience consists of anyone interested in music, particularly residents of Cressier and the surrounding area who wish to participate in a musical activity.
