About us
The Gächlingen Gymnastics Club is a sports club founded in 1941 that brings together sports enthusiasts from across the region. It offers its members the opportunity to participate in various disciplines and fosters camaraderie, a competitive spirit, and a sense of community. The club is divided into several sections. The main section offers athletic activities such as track and field training for gymnastics festivals, as well as seasonal offerings like biking, swimming, volleyball, and climbing. Every two years, an evening social event, the "Chränzli," is held. The men's section is geared towards fit, older men and offers age-appropriate gymnastics groups, as well as group walks and games. The women's section trains once a week with a diverse program including Pilates, yoga, and walking. The ladies' section is a multi-sport club for women aged 30 and over, offering track and field, fitness, ball games, and aerobics during the winter months. The aerobics group offers both competitive and recreational training. The youth section of TV Gächlingen provides training for children and teenagers aged 6 to 16, including competition preparation and varied sports sessions. Children's gymnastics (Kitu) is aimed at kindergarten children aged 5 to 7 and playfully fosters an interest in gymnastics. Parent-child gymnastics (Muki-Turnen) is for children aged three to five and takes place together with their parents; father-child gymnastics sessions are also offered. The club's target group includes sports enthusiasts of all ages, from kindergarten children to senior citizens.
