About us

The Three Dranses Archery Society is a dynamic archery club founded in late 2009, located in Liddes in the Canton of Valais. The club boasts a mountain shooting range at an altitude of 1300 meters. Archery is presented as a sport of precision and concentration. The society currently has 41 members, of whom more than twenty are active, as well as four junior members. The club offers several types of shooting to its members. There is the regular weekly shoot, held every Saturday from April to October, which serves as a form of internal competition. The club also organizes a winter shoot, reserved exclusively for members. Once a year, members have the opportunity to practice 3D archery, which simulates a hunting situation using three-dimensional animal replicas. The club also offers training for archers on sight adjustments, positioning, and mechanical bow adjustments. The Three Dranses Archery Society offers introductory archery sessions. These sessions allow participants to understand the fundamental principles of the sport, learn the basics of instinctive archery, and become familiar with the equipment. These introductory sessions take place on select Saturday mornings from April to September. Club instructors are available to answer questions during these sessions. Participants are 12 years of age and older.
