JSP du Haut-Lac

About us

The Haut-Lac Young Firefighters (JSP du Haut-Lac) is an association that welcomes girls and boys aged 10 to 18. The club's aim is to introduce interested young people to fire prevention and the role of a firefighter, including basic first aid. The club also seeks to develop a spirit of solidarity among its members. Members benefit from training led by volunteer instructors. This training covers various topics based on the federal firefighters' curriculum. Thanks to subsidies from the surrounding municipalities, the young people also receive complete equipment free of charge. Activities include regular drills, often on Saturday mornings, as well as participation in events such as the Telethon. The club also organizes inter-club drills and Latin-themed gatherings. The association is primarily open to young people from the municipalities of Chessel, Noville, Rennaz, Roche, and Villeneuve, but also accepts members from other regions if spaces are available.
