Chor Seltisberg

The Seltisberg Choir is a mixed choir founded in 1921. It originated from the merger of the Seltisberg girls' and men's choirs. For over a century, our choir has sung a diverse repertoire, ranging from folk songs and classical pieces to sacred works, excerpts from operas, operettas, musicals, and pop songs. The choir currently consists of approximately 32 members, distributed across the four sections of soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Our annual program includes performances at community and club events, such as the May Day celebration or anniversary ceremonies. We also sing in church services, retirement homes, and at the cemetery. An important part of our activities are our annual concerts, which always feature new themes. Interested singers are warmly invited to attend a rehearsal and get to know us. We welcome both new members and singers who participate in specific projects. Our choir is aimed at everyone who enjoys singing together across a broad musical spectrum.
