Swiss National Day in Gland !

Celebrate Swiss National Day in Gland on 1 August. The day begins in the morning with the traditional Tartine Party at the community hall, a friendly gathering featuring homemade jam toasts prepared by the Société de développement. From 6:00 p.m., the celebrations continue at the Grand-Champ festival area with food and drink stands. At 7:15 p.m., a musical parade with lanterns and flags leaves from the Place de la Gare towards the Municipal Administration, where the official ceremony takes place. Residents and visitors of all backgrounds are invited to join the celebration by wearing traditional clothing or representing their cultures. A festive event celebrating sharing, diversity and Swiss traditions.
